TNTET
Tamil Nadu conducts the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET). Candidates who qualify in the exam are considered eligible for Primary and Upper Primary Level teacher posts in the state of Tamil Nadu. TNTET has two papers, Paper 1 (for Classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 (for Classes 6 to 8). Both papers have different eligibility criteria, exam patterns and syllabus.
